We are Urgently seeking Two Full time employed HGV Class 1 (C+CE) CPC drivers to Operate our Hotboxes on a Road Maintenance scheme.
The successful applicants will be working within existing teams on an ongoing Highway Maintenance contract in Staffordshire, materials will be collected by the successful applicants from our supplier in Ilkeston.
We offer good rates of Pay and a discretional Performance Bonus. Holiday pay entitlements and Pension contribution scheme.
Your duties will include:
- Collection of Tarmac from Tarmac Plant or client’s premises.
- Assisting the Team with the Road Maintenance Program, including laying of tarmac and cut and break.
- Working within an existing team, ideal candidates will be self-motivated and good team players.
- Street works Certification is an advantage, but full training will be given to successful candidates along with other industry Training.
- Ride on roller and skid steer ticket holders are preferred, however training will be given to a suitable candidate following a probation period, to be agreed.
- As part of your duties, you will be required to submit live updates via the company mobile phone app.
- Your Licence should allow you to Tow Plant and Trailers
This is a full-time contracted position with holiday pay entitlements, production Bonus, pension and all Industry PPE is supplied.
Sub-Contractors are welcome to apply - Rates Negotiable.
Sunday working is paid at Double Time.

As a HGV hotbox driver would you be willing to assist your team members with additional duties to aid the process. These duties would include Wheelbarrowing, raking & general Prep works for Road Maintenance.
Experience:
- Ride on roller: 1 year (required)
- Road maintenance: 1 year (required)
- Driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle: 1 year (required)
- Skid steer driver: 1 year (required)
