Stuart Kitchen (IOSH)
Company Director
As the Senior Managing Director of HSL Construction Ltd, Stuart oversees all aspects of running the Company.
Stuart has a wealth of experience both within the highways sector and in the specialised telecommunications industry where we are currently helping to provide our clients with broadband services in rural areas.
Since forming the company in 2008, the main emphasis has been to offer our clients a quality service which is delivered in a professional manner and within budget , whilst ensuring the safety of our workforce at all times. This ethos has allowed HSL to grow to the point where it now offers full time employment to over 30 members of staff.
Most importantly, Stuart has the responsibility of making sure the company remains profitable and sustainable. -
Lee Reynolds
Director
Lee is a very ‘ hands on’ working director and plays a Key role in making sure the staff have a clear understanding of their duties and responsibilities to deliver a quality service to our clients and on time.
With his hands on approach he works very closely with our supervisors and oversees the management of all operations.
Working closely with our operatives, Lee is ideally placed to recognise any gaps in training and monitors our Health and safety management requirements with regular Supervisor meetings held at our base.
In addition to his duties as Director of operations, he is also responsible for implementing our Environmental policies and is dedicated to finding ways to reduce the amount of Landfill waste the company would otherwise produce. Lee has recently completed an Environmental Awareness course which is accredited by RoSPA. -
Helen Kitchen
Company Secretary
Helen plays an important role in the company and as the Accounts manager deals with the day to day running of the finances.
Helen is also heavily involved in organising and keeping our clients up to date with invoicing matters and is the main contact for all Administration issues and Legal documents.
As Company Secretary Helen deals with all Company Policies, Duty of Care issues, Legalities and ensures we adhere to strict Health and Safety guidelines as part of our proactive involvement as members of CHAS. -
Scott Bradley
General Manager
Scott's role as General Manager is to oversee and communicate with all departments at HSL Construction Ltd mainly in production and logistics and keeping up to date with customer protocols and health & safety control measures.
Scott has many years’ experience in the Highway industry and has qualifications including IOSH and SMSSS, and is currently taking a Level 6 NVQ in Construction Site Management

James Kitchen
Operations Manager
James is operations manager and works with other managers to ensure smooth running of operations on our sites and is a point of contact for absence and other aspects of human resources..
With his HGV Class 1 licence & Welding qualifications James can perform many duties and working closely with the Transport Manager, his skills have proved invaluable to the company. -
Richard Kitchen
CPS Transport Manager
Richard holds his Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Haulage & as our Full time, Transport Manager, his role is a vital one in Looking after and maintaining the Fleet and O licence. He also provides on call assistance to the teams, as a fully qualified HGV Mechanic, Richard is always on call to help keep the Fleet moving.
Richard holds his CPC for Transport Managers in Road Haulage and is also a fully qualified HGV mechanic.
His Qualifications include: -
CPC Transport Manager (Road Haulage)
NVQ level 3, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
CPCS
NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor

Vicky Kitchen
Payroll, HR Manager & Training Co-ordinator
Vicky's role is varied with a very wide scope. Payroll includes generating holidays and staffing numbers, collating data which is HR related and working on wages. Organising training for all staff is a secondary role and includes booking courses and is a point of contact for NVQ Assessors and training providers.

Accounts Manager-Watson & Watson
Estelle is our external health and safety consultant and advises our management team on all aspects of health and safety and currently monitors our SSIP accreditations for both Construction Line Gold and CHAS Advanced certifications
